It’s become a sort of norm in Hollywood that within a week of announcing a sequel to the original movie, the makers announce the date and the year of release.
Following the makers of Angry Birds 2, Universal and DWA have announced that The Boss Baby 2 will hit theatres on March 26, 2021.
If that is not all, another good news is that Alec Baldwin is reuniting with DreamWorks Animation for the film.
The Boss Baby about a power-obsessed infant voiced by Baldwin went on to be a sleeper hit at the global box office earning $468.4 million to date.
The film, that opened in theaters on March 21 this year coincided with Baldwin’s standout ongoing impersonation of President Donald Trump on Saturday Night Live.
The Boss Baby film franchise is based on Marla Frazee’s picture-book series about the Templeton family’s newest addition, an adorable, drooling infant who craves glory, wants a golden toilet and imagines his portrait hanging on the walls for eternity.
