In what could be termed as good news for 90’s kid, Cartoon Network announced plans to open its first resort-style hotel in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
It will be the first resort opportunity for the cable service, which will partner with Palace Entertainment to establish a 165-suite accommodation hub in Pennsylvania. The resort hotel is also set to feature an interactive lobby, outdoor and indoor pools, water play zone, outdoor amphitheater, lawn games, fire pits, game rooms and play areas.
Palace Entertainment currently owns and operated amusement parks, water parks and other in US and Australia.
The theme-based hotel will include themes from the choicest CN shows such as “Adventure Time,” “We Bare Bears,” and “The Powerpuff Girls.”
In a press release, Cartoon Network President Christina Miller stated, “with just the right mix of technology, design, and animation, we’re aiming to bring our characters to life in a way that we haven’t seen done before.”
The channel took to the Twitter and wrote, “Your fav CN characters and animated worlds coming to life at the Cartoon Network Hotel.”
