Mr. Bean is making his way to the publishing industry thanks to the launch of a new graphic novel series. Developed by Dabel Brothers Publishing, the first issue of the new title – starring the graphic novel likeness of Rowan Atkinson’s Mr Bean – is scheduled to hit shelves in spring 2017. Comic book legend Stan Lee's POW! Entertainment and Graphic India, a character entertainment company, have come out with Mighty Girl, a new female superhero for India. Mercer Mayer’s book series to be converted into animated series Little Critter LLC, which controls the Little Critter book property from author Mercer Mayer, and Snyder Media Group have tapped 9 Story Media Group to produce a new TV cartoon based on a cast of animal characters in Critterville. The deal was negotiated by former Turner Broadcasting exec Stuart Snyder. Mayer has sold over 200 million Little Critter books worldwide, with around 100 titles released in China just this year.
