Join the celebration of the Aero Theatre's 75th Anniversary with a screening of Disney's 1940 film Fantasia. This rare theatrical screening will be preceded by an illustrated introduction by David Pacheco, a veteran Disney Creative Director and former Disney animator, who will share some fascinating Fantasia"making of" facts, never-before-seen images from the Disney archive and a lovely redhead "Centaurette" display model from his personal collection. Dreamtex Debuts Paddington Bedding

Textiles company Dreamtex has created a line of bedding inspired by Paddington Bear to coincide with the feature film, which hits theaters Nov. 28. Copyrights Group negotiated the deal on behalf of Studiocanal. “We’re delighted to announce our recent partnership with Paddington, whose adventures have been entertaining children all over the world for more than 55 years,” says Andrew Downie, commercial director, Dreamtex. Bulldog, Garfield Seals Three Licensing Deals

Bulldog Licensing has brought three new licensees on board for cartoon cat Garfield, with The Classic, Fright Rags and Open Roads all signing deals. The new deals will see The Classic producing women’s apparel including tops, bottoms, hats, outerwear, scarves, socks and bags. Open Roads has signed up for wall art, containers, trays, book boxes, tin and wood boxes, novelty magnets, door mats and decals and Fright Rags is set to release a line of T-Shirts next year to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the “Garfield’s Halloween Adventure “TV special. Cloudbabies flying into Germany, Austria and Switzerland

Hoho Rights, the commercial arm of UK company Hoho Entertainment, has tapped Düsseldorf, Germany-based licensing agency Active Merchandising to represent the preschool property Cloudbabies in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. The news comes in the aftermath that the public, commercial-free German TV station KiKA will start broadcast for 52 x 10-min eps of the CG animated series later this year. (more…)
