Mickey and The Roadster Racers, a new original animated series will debut on Disney channel and Disney Junior in US on January 15
The Disney Junior Animated series featuring all new adventures with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, and Daisy & Donald Duck will premiere Sunday, January 15 on Disney Junior, with the episodes simulcast on Disney Channel.
The series, which will premiere internationally throughout 2017, takes Mickey and the gang, along with their unique transforming vehicles, on humorous high-spirited races around the globe, as well as hometown capers in Hot Dog Hills. Off the racetrack, Minnie and Daisy also run their own successful business as Happy Helpers, solving problems for anyone in need of a helping hand.
Rob LaDuca and Mark Seidenberg are teaming up as executive producers, after working together on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Jake and the Never Land Pirates.
The show is geared towards 2-7 year-olds, the stories are designed to impart social and emotional lessons about friendship, teamwork, optimism and good sportsmanship.
The premiere follows several recent programming moves made by Disney Junior; including renewing Doc McStuffins for a fifth season and announcing it will be bringing Muppet Babies back to TV in 2018.
