Epic trailer of Bilal released; to open on February 2

After the New Year welcoming enjoyment, it is now time for animated film aficionados to welcome 2018 with a bang via innovative and groundbreaking projects from studios of all sizes.

One of the first projects we all should welcome is the animated adventure film Bilal: A New Breed of Hero, the epic trailer of which was recently released.

The epic teaser trailer aims to give you a sampling of the true story of Bilal, a young boy abducted into slavery that rose against the challenges and freed himself.

The film is an Arabic 3D computer-animated action-adventure film produced by Barajoun Entertainment.

It depicts the life of Bilal ibn Rabah, who, known for his beautiful voice, was freed from slavery and rose to a position of prominence in 632 AD. The film stars Ian McShane, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and China Anne McClain.

The voice cast features Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Ian McShane, China Anne McClain, Jacob Latimore, Thomas Ian Nichols, Fred Tatascoire, Cynthia Kaye Williams, John Curry, Dave Mitchel and Michael Gross.

The film has already premiered internationally in 2015 and has  managed to garner recognition including the Best Inspiring Movie at the Cannes Film Festival, Best Innovative Movie at the BroadCast Pro Middle East Award, was officially selected at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival under Best Feature Film and nominated for Best Animated Feature Film at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards.

The film is to release on February 2.
