Fresh TV has announced its upcoming film that goes by the title Total Drama Daycare.
The film is a new prequel to the hit franchise that has been lapped up by Cartoon Network in the United States and Teletoon in Canada for release in 2018.
Total Drama Daycare re-introduces favourite cast members like loveable Owen and uptight Courtney but ages them down from teenagers to toddlers.
While the cast may be pint-sized, their teen personalities are fully-formed with the voices we know and love and each episode is packed with dream sequences, cutaways, visual jokes, confessionals and flashbacks.
Total Drama Daycare is scheduled to run for 52 eleven-minute episodes.
Created by Tom McGillis and Jennifer Pertsch, the first incarnation of the franchise Total Drama Island premiered on Teletoon in Canada way back in 2007 and concluded in 2015 after five seasons.
Then a spinoff and 146 episodes aired on Cartoon Network in the United States. The series is being represented globally by CAKE that helped distribute Total Drama to over 260 countries worldwide.
