The Parr Family is pulling ‘Incredible’ box office numbers in India, North America

The Parr Family is pulling off some incredibly historic numbers at the box office.

In India, Incredibles 2 remained unaffected from big releases such as Salman Khan’s Race 3 and Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju.

Incredibles 2 hit 1,000 screens in India on June 22 and earned Rs 3.85 crore on opening day. According to a report in the Moneycontrol, during its first weekend, the film collected Rs 17.85 crore and moved on to collect Rs 30 crore.

The film has secured its position on the list of successful animation films from Hollywood surpassing the 2016 film Kung Fu Panda 3 that earned Rs 22.12 crore.

According to media reports, the sequel has passed half a billion dollars, making it the first animated film in history to hit USD 500 million in North America, and grossed USD 268.4 million in other markets, making it Pixar’s sixth biggest film.

Released after 14 years, the film’s sequel is the highest-grossing animated film of all time, beating out Finding Dory and Shrek 2.

The sequel again deals with the Parr family attempting balance having a normal life with their superhero powers.

The movie deals with what happens to a Mr. Incredible when Elastigirl goes on a vacation. The struggles and challenges he has to overcome handling three children are just hysterical.

Incredibles2 released in India on June 22 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
