Popular Kid’s channel POGO endeavored to make science ‘fun-tastic’ for kids through “Bheem Aur Mighty Raju ka fun-tastic lab” which was held on Dec. 13 – Dec. 14 at Inorbit Mall, Malad, Mumbai and on Nov. 29 – Nov. 30 at Ansal Plaza, New Delhi. Candid Marketing, helped conceptualize and execute the event.
“Bheem Aur Mighty Raju Ka Fun-tastic lab” was a two-day event where kids were engaged and entertained with multiple scientific experiments, workshops and games that helped simplify interesting theories of science. The events witnessed a participation of 8000 kids and parents who took part in workshops that made scientific learnings about optical illusions, levitation, dry ice and catalysts fun and simple.
The high point of these events was, not only did the kids get a chance to meet their favourite cartoon characters – Chhota Bheem, Chhutki and Kalia, but also got to witness spectacular performances that made their parents dance along with them to their tunes. The event received an overwhelming response from the kids and parents in both cities where it was conducted.
Commenting on the activity, Amrita Kumar, Managing Partner, Candid Marketing says, “We have been associated with Pogo for two years now. The brief given to us was to create a platform that would not only be fun but also educational, in sync with the channel’s programming. Kids being a very difficult audience to engage, our approach was to take a subject from their curriculum that they find difficult to understand and simplify it to an extent that it is no longer boring but is instead fun and entertaining. For this reason, we used scientific theories while designing the engagements to maintain a single tonality for the event. The event has received an amazing response from kids in both the cities.”
