The Pokémon Company records huge profit on its Pokémon Go, Sun and Moon app

In its latest financial earnings report unveiled this week, The Pokémon Company has revealed a massive growth in profits, $143.3m, to be exact a massive growth in profits, $143.3m to be exact in the last fiscal year,.

This shows a massive boost in profits thanks to the runaway success of mobile app Pokémon Go.

To put this in perspective this represents a 2458 per cent jump over that of last year, denoting a whopping 26x higher than The Pokémon Company’s previous net sales report.

This success is undoubtedly due to the launch of mobile app Pokémon Go which reached phenomenon levels of users, as well as high sales for the latest editions to the mainline Pokémon video game series Pokémon Sun and Moon which has sold 15.44m units by the end of March.

Pokémon continues to dominate the toys space as well with products ranging from plush toys to the globally successful Pokémon Trading Card Game.
