Singaporean studio One Animation has started production on a new set of episodes of the award-winning kids’ animated comedy series Oddbods.
It may be remembered that the order for the season was made earlier this year and as proof of the series’ popularity, the studio has already secured key broadcast partners including Turner and its flagship channels Cartoon Network and Boomerang in Latin America and across EMEA.
Oddbods is a wacky CG-animated comedy series that focuses on the hilarious antics of seven distinct cute characters, with color-specific clothes that are as unique as their temperaments and attitudes.
The new batch of episodes is the third overall season of Oddbods, but is technically only the second season as the first batch of episodes were released only as a digital short-form series.
The Oddbods cartoon is notable for racking up over 1.5 billion views online, with an equally impressive following on social media.
