In what could be termed as good news for Disney lovers, production on Mulan, a live-action adaptation of the studio’s 1998 animated feature, has begun starring Liu Yifei as the lead.
Yifei, also known as Crystal Liu, looks fierce in the movie’s first promo shot, armed with a sword and stance.
Sharing the official look, Disney took to the Twitter and wrote, “Let’s get down to business to make a movie! The live-action #Mulan is now in production, starring Liu Yifei as Mulan.”
