Trollhunters

Produced by DreamWorks Animation TV, the series follows Jim, who finds a magical amulet that turns him into a Trollhunter, who defends the Trolls.

The main character is voiced by Anton Yelchin, who tragically died last year in a car accident but finished his voice work prior to his death.

Trollhunters has been created and executively produced by Guillermo del Toro with Marc Guggenheim, Rodrigo Blaas, Chad Hammes and Christina Steinberg serving as executive producers. Dan Hageman and Kevin Hageman are also executive producers.

It is nice to learn that the first season lapped up six Daytime Emmys including outstanding writing, directing and performance in an Animated Program.

Launching on December 23, 2016, the first 26 episodes have been the SVOD’s biggest simultaneous drop of an original series.

Trollhunters also helped Netflix break its quarterly record for global sign-ups and is the SVOD’s most-watched kids original ever.
