Second season of Lili & Lola on the way


Canada-based studio Big Bad Boo Studios will produce the second season of its mini-series Lili & Lola with five x seven-minute new episodes heading to multiple platforms that will include the studio’s bilingual VOD platform Oznoz.

The pre-school mini-series follows two sisters living in a small apartment in a big city. Created by Shabnam Rezaei and Aly Jetha of Big Bad Boo it originally debuted in 2015 on Oznoz.

The first season also currently airs on Shaw Multicultural Canada, ICI Television Montreal and TenTV in both English and Persian.

Rezaei initially created the show for the Farsi-speaking community, but it has since branched out hoping to attract new subscribers on Oznoz.

The platform also streams Sesame StreetThomas and FriendsBabar and other shows in Arabic, French, Spanish, Chinese, Persian, German and more.

For the uninitiated, Big Bad Boo is the studio behind Mixed Nutz and 1001 Nights which airs in 120 countries across the globe on channels like Cartoon Network, Teletoon, Disney, CBC, Al Jazeera Children’s Channel, Discovery Kids, PBS, Globo TV and China’s CCTV.
