New Partners Unveiled for Toys, Apparel, Homewares, Accessories and Back-to-School with Products Launching from July 2017 Entertainment One (eOne) proudly announces a new broadcast partner and a raft of new licensees signed for its hit preschool superhero TV property PJ Masks, as it prepares to debut the brand’s first toy line in the UK from 4th February 2017. Broadcast exposure for PJ Masks will be boosted in the UK when the series launches on Sony Pictures Television Networks' free to air channel Tiny Pop from 25th February 2017. The show currently airs on Disney Junior in the UK where it debuted in February 2016 and consistently ranks as one of the channel’s top performing shows. Entertainment One (eOne) today unveils plans for the retail launch of its global entertainment preschool property Peppa Pig in India, as the show begins to attract a new international audience. The award-winning TV series made a strong broadcast debut in the country in June 2016 on VOOT Kids, the VoD destination by Viacom18 for kids’ content in India. Peppa Pig has also just made its debut on Nickelodeon preschool Channel Nick Jr. India where it began to air on January 9th 2017. PJ Masks UK Retail Launch Poised for February 2017 Entertainment One (eOne) announced its first raft of UK licensing partners for its hit preschool animated superhero TV show, PJ Masks. PJ Masks launched on Disney Junior channel in the UK during February 2016 and is already proving to be a hit with both girls and boys aged 3-6 years. The show consistently features in the channel’s top 5 rated series and as a result, Disney Junior has increased PJ Masks airtime to multiple prime-slots daily Monday through to Sunday. Entertainment One (eOne) today shares strong broadcast ratings for its new preschool superhero series PJ Masks which premiered on Disney Channel and Disney Junior in the U.S. this month. The first episode of eOne’s new CGI preschool series aired on Disney Channel and Disney Junior in the U.S. on September 18th 2015. The show attracted 1.6 million unique viewers across its Disney Channel and Disney Junior premieres and won an average audience share of 29% among 2-5-year-olds. The Light Fund Treasure Hunt 2015 raises over £8,000

Rainbow Productions has held onto its crown as champions of The Light Fund 2015 Treasure Hunt for the second year running. The event – which took place last Thursday evening (July 16th) - managed to raise over £8,000 for the industry charity. Rainbow Productions managed to stave off tough competition from Blueprint, Spearmakr and Kinnerton’s Gooners Never Say Die and Penguin Ventures, to clinch the top spot in a quest to follow a route around London’s Mayfair. Entertainment One Licensing (eOne) and Kelly Teegarden Organics announce the retail launch of the SO SO Happy cosmetics line, which will debut at health specialty stores nationwide in Summer 2015. The collaboration has yielded the first all natural and organic, Ecocert certified makeup line targeted to young adults. For the launch, products included are lipsticks, glosses, lip treatments and balms manufactured in the U.S. with certified organic and natural, non-GMO ingredients that contain no known cancer-causing ingredients or hormone disruptors.   (more…)

eOne Reports Outstanding Retail Sales for Peppa Pig in Brazil

Entertainment One Licensing (eOne) reports exceptionally strong retail sales and growing TV audiences for Peppa Pig in Brazil and shares plans for experiential retail events that will drive growth in 2015. Peppa licensed merchandise launched in the country in 2014, and the licensing programme now boasts over 45 licensees across 15 categories with eOne’s licensing agent, Exim, managing consumer products for the region.  The first Peppa Pig DVD was released in Brazil in December 2014 and Peppa Pig is currently the top selling kids’ DVD title in Brazil, with over 100,000 units sold to date. Nina Leong has served as a consultant for eOne’s Lifestyle division since October 2014 and in her new role as SVP she will manage the lifestyle team based in eOne’s Calabasas, California office. Entertainment One Licensing (eOne) has secured a raft of new deals for Peppa Pig in Australia, the Company announced today. Newly signed licensees include Hunter Leisure (wheeled toys and furniture), Big Balloon (role-play), Crayola (colour and activity packs), Maxwell Foods (sultanas), Portmerion (ceramic homewares) and Universal Brands (bath and beauty products). Symingtons have also expanded their Peppa Pig range and will be adding porridge kits and a milkshake mix to their Australian range. (more…)
