IMG has acquired Exhibitions International, the leading global museum exhibition producer. The business will sit within IMG’s events division with Arts & Entertainment. Exhibitions International’s Founder and President John Norman will become Managing Director, Exhibitions, IMG Events, and his team will also join IMG. The portfolio of events of Exhibitions International includes KING TUT: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh, POMPEII: The Exhibition and Mummies of the World. IMG and Exhibitions International recently partnered with the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities to create KING TUT: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh, a ten-city international exhibition tour celebrating the 100-year anniversary of the discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb. Volkswagen to debut $280M licensing programme at Brand Licensing Europe

Volkswagen has confirmed its attendance at this year’s Brand Licensing Europe; marking its first ever appearance at a licensing event with the largest stand in the show’s Brands & Lifestyle zone. Volkswagen Zubehoer and IMG have grown Volkswagen’s licensing programme in just over three years to retail sales of over $280M, spread across more than 170 licenses worldwide.
