One Animation appoints Kids Station Toys as North American master toy partner

One Animation has appointed Kids Station Toys as North American master toy partner for its animated comedy series Oddbods while Bentex Group has been tapped to serve as the brand’s master apparel licensee in the territory. The licensed products, including t-shirts and fashion tops, will launch in retail in fall 2018. The Kids Station agreement will see the company create a range of branded interactive electronic toys as well as collectibles, blind bags, play sets and plush accessories. Bentex Group, that includes its divisions Extreme Concepts and H.I.S. International will develop a line of kids apparel inspired by the colorful creatures in Oddbods.   Animation Masters Summit that has been celebrating the art of animation since 1999  is gearing up to host its annual event that will be held on 5 and 6 May in Thiruvananthapuram. One Animation’s Oddbods debuts on Netflix

One Animation’s animated TV series Oddbobs has been released on Netflix in North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australia and New Zealand. The long-form toon follows seven colorful characters as they play pranks on one another. The SVOD deal comes after a one and five-minute shorts of Oddbods garnered nearly two billion views across social media. The series’ long-form version was sold last year to broadcasters including Boomerang, Disney channels in Asia, Canal Plus in France and Africa, ITV in the UK and Boing in Italy. This past fall, ITV also signed on licensees for Oddbods with help from UK master toy partner Golden Bear. The show’s second season will also be streamed on Netflix later this summer.
