With an all new original content, Sanrio continues to bolster its own library probably as a reaction to the noticeable increase of VOD providers these past few years and most importantly Walt Disney’s plans to launch its own streaming service. One of Netflix’s upcoming additions is an animated series featuring the popular Sanrio character Aggrestuko. The Aggrestuko series that will have 10 x 15 minute episodes will revolve around the titular female red panda, who works in a major corporation. Her struggles in the workplace serve as a backdrop for high-tension comedy drama framed by colorful and cute characters. Netflix has unveiled the trailer on Youtube

In order to bring to life timely inter-franchise crossovers Hello Kitty Wonder Woman, Sanrio has joined forces with DC . As the name suggests, the character is Sanrio’s Hello Kitty mascot, dressed up in full regalia as DC Comic’s Wonder Woman, which has recently enjoyed a surge of mainstream popularity as a result of the highly successful blockbuster film starring Gal Gadot. Sanrio has partnered with Microsoft HoloLens to develop a series of new Actiongram theme packs starring the popular Hello Kitty. Moleskine, A company well-known for its planners, journals and notebooks, along with Sanrio launched their second wave of Hello Kitty Notebooks. The new notebooks arrive as an extension of an alliance formed in 2014. Keeping Sanrio’s philosophy “Small gift, Big Smile” in mind, the notebooks feature a special set of stickers inside and graphics that continue on the endpapers. The new launch of two pocket sized notebooks and two large ruled hardcover notebooks arrives as an extension of an alliance formed back in 2014.
