Sony Pictures Animation has recently released a teaser clip of its upcoming CG short Puppy! The short features the residents of Hotel Transylvania finding their world thrown into chaos when youngster Dennis gets a surprise pet in the form of a monstrous, giant puppy. The clip shows one of the key problems of having such a large and colossally strong pet walls that are normally meant to keep things and pets away are easily broken down and of course one has to wonder how much those will be worth in terms of repair costs. SPA releases first-look image of its short Puppy

Sony Pictures Animation (SPA) has released the first-look image of its upcoming computer animated short, Puppy! that is based on its Hotel Transylvania franchise. It was only last week that Nelvana and SPA had announced that their new animated series Hotel Transylvania: The Series was going to debut on Disney Channel starting 25 June. The announcement also informed that three animated shorts will be released before the premiere of the film. However, Puppy! is not going to be a part of these three shorts. In this short, the residents of Hotel Transylvania find their world turned upside-down when Drac’s grandson, Dennis gets a monster-sized pet. Rovio and Columbia Pictures have come out with the official release date of the sequel to The Angry Birds Movie, titled The Angry Birds Movie 2. As per the announcement, the CG animated sequel will release on September 20, 2019 that would coincide with the Angry Birds franchise’s 10th anniversary. “We are thrilled to be teaming up again with Sony Pictures after the fantastic cooperation in the first movie, and I can’t wait to experience the new journey in the upcoming film,” Rovio CEO Kati Levoranta said. “Rovio is continuing to focus on creating exciting new stories and experiences around our games, and we’re eager to take fans back into the vibrant Angry Birds world on the big screen,” he added. It has also announced that three times Emmy winner Patricia Heaton has joined the voice cast in the role of Edith, the cow. Sony Pictures Animation has promoted Pam Marsden from the role of executive vice president of production to head its production. This was announced by president of Sony Pictures Animation, Kristine Belson. emoji company GmbH and Sony Pictures Animation (SPA) announced on Tuesday that they have entered into a licensing agreement with regard to emoji company's registered emoji® trademark. The agreement covers the use of the term "emoji" in connection with SPA's worldwide merchandising program for SPA's upcoming comedy feature The Emoji Movie, coming to theatres August 11th, 2017. Both parties will offer their unique sets of icons and characters and target different markets.
