Warner Brother’s upcoming movie starring Jason Statham ‘The Meg’ is based on the 1997 science fiction book Meg: A Novel of Deep Terror by Steve Alten. 'The Meg' is the story of a massive 75-foot Megalodon Shark, a marine animal presumed extinct for thousands of years, which terrorizes a deep-sea submersible.
