Consumer Product Connection has signed a raft of agreements with local agencies to represent the app-based property across the globe.
Pou already enjoys a presence with the European market, where CPC directly manages the rights across Iberia, El Ocho covers the Italian market, License Connection for Benelux and Jantar Projekt for Poland.
The new deals will see Pou represented across Russia and CIS territories by Icon Promotion, while BR Licensing will cover Brazil and Televisa will manage Mexico.
To complete the South American region, Smilehood has been appointed for Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay an Bolivia, Agosin for Chile and Colombia, Mon-agosin for Panama and Centre America, Ecu-Agosin for Ecuador and AMV for Peru.
Positive global reaction to the app pet has seen Pou enjoy more more than 250 million downloads, 30 million new monthly users and 6.5 million followers on Facebook.
The brand’s portfolio of licensees already cover categories including plush, apparel, homeware, bags and back to school products.
More agreements are now under negotiation to cover all the potential markets for the brand.
