Hoho Rights, the commercial wing of kids production company c has announced that leading Russian digital content distributor X-Media has placed its CGI animated pre-school series Cloudbabies (52×10’) on pay TV channel Mama TV and premium VOD platform ivi.ru in Russia and its neighbouring territories.
Aimed primarily at mothers with kids, Mama TV is a trusted channel that is included in the extended social package of the leading telecommunication company in Russia. It is also available in the CIS and Baltics.
Ivi.ru is the leading Russian VOD service attracting more than 30 million unique users and approximately more than 200 million views per month is available in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Georgia.
The latest of these deals follow on from X-Media’s earlier exclusive launch of Cloudbabies in the Russian language on YouTube. The success of the online launch led to Hoho strengthening its collaboration with X-Media Digital by extending its distribution rights to TV channels and other digital platforms.
