Xilam has signed a pre-sale agreement with Cartoon Network Asia for its new animated series for its new animated series Mister Magoo.
As a part of the deal, Cartoon Network Asia will air the 78 x 7-minute series in territories like Southeast Asia, Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Australia, India, the Indian subcontinent and New Zealand in 2018.
It may be remembered that earlier the channel had taken rights for seasons 6 and 7 of Oggy and the Cockroaches that will launch on the network’s channels next year.
Older seasons are currently being aired on Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Netflix and Amazon in Asia while it is being distributed in more than 160 countries around the world and watched in 600 million homes.
In India, the company continues to make its mark over the last 12 months. Shows of Xilam have been sold to Nickelodeon, Disney Channel, Cartoon Network, Sony as well as local Indian VOD platforms like Amazon India, Alt Digital, and Hungama.

Seasons 1 and 2 of Zig and Sharko are also earning top ratings on the Disney Channel in Southeast Asia, Japan and South Korea. UYoung in China is currently airing Oggy & the Cockroaches.
