Amazon Prime Video Kids gears up to release two holiday originals



Amazon Prime Video Kids is gearing up to release two new holiday originals namely Click Clack Moo: Christmas at the Farm and Pete the Cat: A Groovy New Year which will join the SVOD giant’s line-up of specials and holiday episodes from earlier years.


Click Clack Moo: Christmas at the Farm is inspired by the acclaimed children’s book of the same name by authors Doreen Cronin and Betsy Lewin.

Written by Will McRobb , directed by Jennifer Oxley  and executive produced by Cronin, Lewin, McRobb, Oxley and Bill Aronson, the special will premiere on November 28. The voice cast features Rachel Bloom, Pete Davidson and Patton Oswalt.

Bowing on December 26, Pete the Cat: A Groovy New Year is a co-production with Alcon Television Group and Appian Way.

It is based on the award-winning book series Pete the Cat by Kimberly and James Dean. Jeff “Swampy” Marsh serves as showrunner and the characters are voiced by Jacob Tremblay, Atticus Shaffer and Django Marsh  with Elvis Costello and Diana Krall.

Earlier holiday content from Amazon Prime Video Kids includes the special If You Give a Mouse a Christmas Cookie and The Snowy Day.

Prime members can stream the specials on the Amazon Prime Video app for compatible TVs, connected devices including Fire TV, mobile devices and online.
