California-based toy manufacturer Funrise has entered into a multi-year partnership to serve as global master toy partner for Paramount Pictures’ animated feature film Amusement Park. Funrise will create a line that includes figures, play sets, plush, role-play and collectibles. Amusement Park is slated for a March 2019 release in the US and Funrise’s products are set to roll out globally early next year. Playmates Toys has introduced its Mysticons toy line that is based on the new animated action series that airs on Nickelodeon. The line will include an assortment of flying creatures, plush, and role play items, and is available at select Toys “R” Us stores nationwide and online at Toysrus.com and Amazon.com. The line will be available at additional retailers later this year. Funko has teamed up with candy dispenser company PEZ to create a line of dispensers featuring the toy company’s Pop! art style. Featuring Pop! heads on varying dispensers, the line will be available in the US and Canada in the first half of 2018. It will be sold by Funko with PEZ serving as the licensee. The dispensers will be sold in a collector window box meant for display and the characters will be announced in the coming months.
