DreamWorks to revive Rocky and Bullwinkle as TV series

The last time we saw a certain moose and squirrel, it was in 2014’s short film that came along with Mr. Peabody & Sherman on home video.

Now, we better get ready because it has come to light that DreamWorks is reviving Rocky and Bullwinkle as a television series. It’ll be animated by DHX Studios Vancouver.

No one is sure if the series will debut on Netflix or if it’ll head to Universal Kids. The series is tentatively scheduled to open sometime in 2018.

The Rocky and Bullwinkle characters debuted in the The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends television series that ran on ABC and NBC between 1959 and 1964

.The show follows the moose and squirrel as they attempt thwart the schemes of Boris Badenov and Natasha Fatale.

The series and its related segments have inspired multiple feature films most recently the DreamWorks’ Mr. Peabody & Sherman in 2014.
