According to an agreement signed last week at MIPCOM, Clan TV will showcase the new episodes of Pocoyo. The event took place in Cannes recently. Pocoyo’ Season fourth will be broadcast on RTVE’s kids channel. Pocoyo is a pre-school series comprising educational, fun episodes which depict a range of situations in a world of gestures, colors, shapes and music and features high-impact visual language The new episodes of the animation series Pocoyo aimed at pre-schoolers that have been produced by Zinkia Entertainment, will be on Clan TV very soon. The producer signed a deal with the public TV to broadcast the 26 episodes of Pocoyo’s New Season. This is the fourth Season since the launch of the series in 2005. The TV channel becomes the first television channel to bet on this content.
Zhejiang Zhongnan Animation Co. Ltd. (Zoland Animation) has partnered with France’s M.E.I. Group to launch ZOKAST KIDS.TV, a new SVOD platform catering to children of all ages. Announced at MIPCOM, the service will start its beta trial shortly with an official launch planned for the end of the year. Zodiak Kids announced today at MipJunior that it has secured sales for the Amazon Studios series it took on for distribution last MIPCOM. Zodiak Kids distributes three series from Amazon Studios – animated preschool series Tumble Leaf (season 1 & 2) and Creative Galaxy (season 1 & 2), and live-action series Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street (seasons 1 & 2). In Canada DHX Media have picked up all seasons of Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street for their The Family Channel and Knowledge Network have taken Tumble Leaf and Creative Galaxy (both season 1) for their pre-school slots, both 13 episodes each.
